This is a very special planet: Once in the 1½ year (=709 days (one day is 78 hours) ) the moon of this planet is at the closest point near the planet. This is so close that the tide just moves incredible high (together with earthquakes). Because of this rhythm the planet is one big "rivered" land, with even more ravines, because of the earthquakes. When the tide is returning, the planet is very peaceful and livable. But about 190 days before the next flood, it's one big canyoned dessert... This photo is taken 164 days after flood.
