This is MDB's Terragen site. A site by Michiel de boer who creates music and photography as well... Terragen is a free, work in Progress photorealistic scenery generator. Check this site to see the images you can create with it. This landscape renderer is made by Matt Fairclough. The terragen program renders landscape, water, sky (with clouds) and sun, just like a photo. The possibilities are incredible. There are also a lot of plugins for this program, Talking about Waterworks, SO pack, Firmanent, For Export Only, and more. Terragen animations or movies Are also createable with this software. Therefore are the fine animators Terranim or CamPath. The last version of Terragen is 0.9.08, ( not 0.8.11, 0.8.24 or 0.8.44 or 0.8.86 ) this means terragen will be able to create even more stunning images in the future ! For faster renders you'd better have version 0.8.11 (for previewing or so) but note the newest version has water transparency and bug fixes, and also version 9 has a special render technique; only the visible gets rendered. Saves much time! Please do not search for a Terragen crack, there is no need. Terragen is free, only not for commercial purposes. Then you need to register Terragen. Registering teragen will give you also acces to bigger terrains ultra sub-pixel smoothing, and larger renders. You can also import DEM files or other terrain data, or just a bitmap image which you can import, thanks to the plugins. You can Download terragen on several servers... Tutorials are also available, about how to create good surface, atmosphere, 3D views, panorama's (pano's), nice clouds, weird glow effect, shadow settings, and a lot more.
